The Election Commission assured the Supreme Court that individuals listed in Bihar's 2003 voter roll need not submit documents for inclusion in the updated list; their children will be added upon proof of relationship. This addresses concerns that the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) might lead to mass voter exclusion.
