War crime: Israel, Russian armed forces accused of sexual violence; UN issues notice

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres cautioned that Israel and Russia might be included in a UN list of parties suspected of sexual violence in conflict zones next year. The warning follows credible reports of sexual violence by Israeli forces against Palestinians in detention and by Russian forces against Ukrainian prisoners of war.
