Abu Dhabi has completed 1,090 organ transplants since launching the ‘Hayat’ programme in 2017, with a record 290 in 2024 alone. The Hayat programme encourages residents aged 21 and above to register as organ donors, aiming to save lives and advance ethical transplantation practices.
