Road safety improves sharply in Kuwait: Accidents down 45%, deaths down 34% in first half of 2025

Kuwait experienced a significant improvement in road safety during the first half of 2025. Traffic accidents plummeted by 45%, and fatalities decreased by 34% following the implementation of a stringent new traffic law in late April. Traffic offenses also declined by 16%, indicating a positive shift towards safer driving behaviour.
