DGCA warns Air India on pilot duty violations

India's aviation regulator, DGCA, has cautioned Air India for misusing pilot flight duty exemptions granted during Pakistan's airspace closure in April 2025. Air India allegedly reduced cockpit crew on unaffected flights, leading to safety concerns. The DGCA deemed Air India's explanation unsatisfactory and warned the CEO to ensure strict compliance with aviation regulations.
