'Baby Shark' plagiarism case: Pinkfong scores victory

South Korea's Supreme Court ruled that Pinkfong's 'Baby Shark' did not plagiarize Jonathan Robert Wright's version. Wright alleged copyright infringement, demanding damages. The court stated both versions are rearrangements of a traditional song lacking a single copyright owner. Pinkfong's 2016 English version became a global sensation, surpassing 10 billion views on YouTube, affirming its adaptation as a creative work.
