Kannada film star Darshan Thogudeepa was arrested after the Supreme Court overturned his bail in the Renukaswamy murder case. This followed the arrest of actress Pavithra Gowda, a co-accused. Darshan was apprehended at his wife's residence, reportedly planning to evade arrest. The Supreme Court cited witness intimidation allegations and irregularities in the High Court's bail order.
