Expressing unhappiness over the current state of affairs in the BJP,

Party national secretary and a prominent OBC leader Pankaja Munde announced that she was taking a two-month break from politics.

Ms Munde, who had lost the 2019 Assembly elections to her cousin Dhananjay Munde of the NCP and was appointed a BJP national secretary in 2020.

All this happens after Dhananjay Munde takes oath as minister with Ajit Pawar joining as deputy CM.
