Delhi Police's Special Cell successfully dismantled an international arms trafficking syndicate, leading to the arrest of three individuals: Mohammad Ovais alias Shamshad (27), Mohammad Afroz (25), and Mohammad Adnan Hussain Ansari (26). During the operation, ten semi-automatic pistols, including Zigana and Slovakian pistols, along with one US-made pistol, Nepali currency, a Nepali SIM card, and a specialized iron box used for trafficking pistols were seized. The investigation revealed that after the arrest of Shahbaz Ansari, Ovais took over the weapons trafficking operation from the Nepal-India border, with Adnan coordinating with associates in Dubai, who, in turn, communicated with members of the module based in Pakistan to fulfill weapon orders.
