Protests in Skardu have turned violent. Local population has threatened Pakistan Govt to immediately release their leaders or they will rage a civil war & merge with India

Pakistan government has also initiated Disciplinary Proceedings against some local Bureaucrats & Government employees in Gilgit Baltistan who are aiding in fueling the anti-government and anti Pakistan Army protests through social media under GB Civil Servants Rules 2011

This slogan which gathered up pace in a few villages is echoing across Skardu and Gilgit.
