🇦🇲🇦🇿 Ironically the real "danger" in this situation would be the fall of Pashinyan leading to a pro-Russian replacement. Because in that instance Russian would be motivated to take a side. Remember, Russia got involved in Georgia and Ukraine because locals with no ethnic state behind them cried out to be part of the "Russian world" again.

Armenia and Azerbaijan are both actual states so at present there would be no logical reason for Russia to take any action. They can fight it out amongst themselves.

Now if a shattered Armenia said "we're sorry bro let us back in the empire pretty please" that could be a different story.
