Hungarian Prime Minister Orban advised the Ukrainian authorities to be careful with “ambitious plans” to join the European Union in the next two years. He called the process of the country's accession to the EU unrealistic during hostilities on its territory.

“When I am in the chamber, I do not feel an overwhelming desire for the Hungarian parliament to vote for Ukraine’s membership in the European Union within two years,” Orban said.
