Today I saw a question on a Twitter account: Can someone explain why Indians support Israelis so much?

I’ve also noticed that many Indians, specifically Hindu people, have a great deal of sympathy and support for Israelis.

I think the reason is that Indian Hindu people themselves have also been suffering from the same jihad threat for centuries. Muslims invaded Hindu lands initially in the seventh century. Over many centuries, they committed numerous wholesale massacres of Hindus. They raped and forcibly converted many to Islam, and destroyed numerous Hindu temples. The jihadis have been targeting Hindu people since. Hindu children are still kidnapped and raped by Muslim men almost every week in Pakistan. Tragically, many Pakistanis are descendants of forcibly islamized Hindus.

So when most Hindu people look at Israelis, they see another group of people whose rights to life and self-determination are constantly attacked and violated by adherents of the same ideology that violently targets Hindus and other non-Muslims.

Hence, most Hindu or Indian people understand the plight of Israelis. They feel sympathy and compassion. I hope that the rest of the world will also reach the same level of awareness as the Indian people regarding jihad and Islamization- not through direct interaction with jihadists, but through realistic observations and knowledge.
