The National Bank of 🇵🇱 Poland became the world’s biggest buyer of gold among central banks together with 🇮🇳 India in the second quarter of 2024.

Poland purchased another 19 tonnes of the metal, bringing the total reserve up to 392 tonnes.

India has bought more gold and at a faster rate than any other Group of Twenty (G20) country, including Russia and China.
