Afghanistan experienced a magnitude 4.2 earthquake on Monday, marking the fourth seismic event in four days, according to the National Center for Seismology. The quake, striking at a depth of 140 kilometers, follows a magnitude 4.5 earthquake on Sunday and two others earlier in the week.
