To ensure that Armed protests died down and didn't pose a challenge to the British, they launched Mohandas armed with half-sholaka 'अहिंसा परमो धर्मः'

The entire freedom movement from Mangal Pandey to Neta ji was armed revolt but Mohandas made everyone impotent with 'अहिंसा परमो धर्मः'
