What happened ❓

⚡️Arakan Army (AA) captured the No. 5 Border Police Force camp in Maungdaw, Rakhine State, Myanmar.

⚡️Following this, Myanmar junta troops began withdrawing and attempting to flee towards Bangladesh by crossing the Naf River.

⚡️On 8 Dec, Arakan Army issued an announcement banning navigation on Naf River indefinitely within Myanmar's waters.

⚡️Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Coast Guard personnel increased patrols along the Naf River to prevent illegal crossings by fleeing junta troops or others.
