Sources explained that new protocols for patrolling have been agreed upon, adding that according to the agreement reached by both sides, patrolling will be done in all areas as what it was before 2020, including in Depsang, from PP10 to PP13. Last Monday (05/08/2024), moments before Sheikh Hasina resigned, a mob attacked the Baniachong police station. In self defence, Bhabhu and his colleagues fired on the violent mob, which killed three on the spot and injured others.

After one injured died while being treated at the hospital, the violent mob came back at around 1am and surrounded the PS. When the army came to the rescue, the mob agreed to let go of all other policemen in exchange for only Santosh Bhabu.

Santosh Bhabu was lynched to death by the mob at around 2:15 am. The body was kept lying like that on the road until next day noon, and later in the afternoon the same mob hung the body of Santosh Bhabu (image 1).

Here the question is why was Santosh Bhabu selected? His other colleagues had also fired, yet only Santosh Bhabu was chosen by the mob.

Answer lies in the fact that Santosh Bhabu was a Hindu.

⚡️☄️In a major boost to its defence capabilities, India on Thursday approved a major plan to build military airfields in Lakshadweep island territories to keep an eye on growing Chinese activities in the region and expand its reach.

The Central government, at a high-level meeting held on Thursday, cleared the proposals, defence sources told ANI.

The proposal from the three services led by the Department of Military Affairs is to build a new airbase in Minicoy islands and extend the existing air field on Agatti island in the Arabian Sea on western side of India, they said.

The dual-purpose airfields, which would also be used by commercial airlines, would be capable of deploying and operating all types of fighter and transport aircraft, along with long-range drones and would give an edge to the Indian forces in the region.

Indian Defence ministry is set to clear a mega ₹70,000 crore order for new warships for the Indian Navy.

The stealth frigates will be the most advanced ships to be built in India and are a follow-on of the Nilgiri class that are currently under construction, the Economic Times reported.

A brief history of insurgents in Myanmar : Three years after the military coup in Myanmar, Operation 1027 was launched against the military junta by the Three Brotherhood Alliance members comprising the Arakan Army (AA) based in Rakhine State, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) from the Kokang Region of Shan State, and The Ta’ang National Liberation Army, also from Shan State.

The People’s Defence Force (PDF)—militia groups that have branched out of the shadow of National Unity Government (NUG)—also joined the fray. NUG has the unstinted support of the US and has its office in Washington DC at a short distance from the White House.

The trouble for India : The military in Myanmar is losing ground to these insurgents. And very recently, Myanmar Insurgent allies capture strategic Shan State town from Junta.

In comes Manipur – Chin National Army (CNA) on November 7, supported by PDF operating from Chin State and Sagaing Division of Myanmar, captured key military outposts and towns on the border with India. Khampat town on the Kale-Tamu road, an important trade route, and Khampat police station in the Sagaing region were the first to fall.

A slight detour to Nagaland to prove the role of CIA in this region : The US-CIA involvement in the Naga insurgency is well-recorded. A paper published by the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research claimed that a former secret service agent revealed that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had supported and financed the Naga underground movement till the 1950s.
