This is because Adani is developing his business and expanding by pledging his shares of one enterprise to get syndicate loans from banks for his subsidiaries. If they are able to create fear and devalue his shares of atleast two major firms, then the worth of Collateral of Adani's shares to banks will diminish and bank will have an asset liability crisis and go for re insurance and underwriters. This is going to significantly increase the cost of maintaining the assets.

And if the spiral starts, majority of PSUs, PSBs and LIC will have to dump his shares and take a huge haircut. Banks capital adequacy and security deposits will go for a toss as panic of liquidity is already set through market as investors and depositors will try to bank run. This will be the perfect time to civil unrest and spread anarchy across the nation as hyper inflation will bring the economy down.

It is a long drawn plan to destroy the economy.
