Police on #NewsClick alleged journalists booked under stringent terrorist act -

👉 They received ₹115 crore foreign funds for spreading a false narrative and propagate to discredit the efforts of the Indian government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

👉 The accused persons along with Neville Roy Singham, an “active member of Propaganda department of Communist Party of China” to distort the map of India by projecting Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as disputed territory.

👉Conspired to disrupt supplies and services essential to the life of community in India and abet damage and destruction of property by protraction of farmers’ protest through such illegal foreign funding.

👉Accused persons also conspired to create disaffection among various sections of the society and they are also found to be actively sympathising with banned terrorist organisations.

👉Foreign funding to target Indian secular structure and development

It has recovered 4.73 lakh emails and also the data extracted by the ED was stored in five hard disks.

Delhi police is raiding at several employees of Chinese funded Newsclick.

Javed Anand(Husband of Teesta Setalvad)- ₹13 Lakh

Tamara(Daughter of Teesta)- ₹11 lakh

Gautam Navlakha- ₹21 Lakh

Paranjoy Guha- ₹40 Lakh

Abhisar Sharma- ₹45 Lakh

Urmilesh- ₹23 Lakh

They are not journalists, they are propagandist employed by China.

Former NDTV managing editors Aunindyo Chakraborty, and Newsclick journalists Urmilesh and Abhisar Sharma have been arrested on charges of terror links.

Nine journalists have been detained by DP on the charges of tarnishing the image of the government & the country by taking money from abroad (China).

"It is about sovereignty of India and not about freedom of speech. Newsclick funding push by China is an assault on the sovereignty of India."

Case registered against Newsclick under UAPA; raids on journalists & staffers; laptops, mobiles, hard disks seized by cops

At least 255 eminent citizens have written to the President of India Droupadi Murmu and Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud calling for a ‘strong action against NewsClick’ in view of its clandestine China connection and funding.

The 255 signatories of the letter consist of 14 retired judges, 112 retired bureaucrats including 12 former ambassadors and 129 retired armed forces officers.
