  • Detailed explanation of A very important diagram above.

How the Jesuit scholar-missionaries in the 16th century imported and transmitted Indian Mahāyāna manuscripts throughout Europe.

Virtually every 17th-19th century western thinker was exposed to the high philosophy contained in these texts. These advanced texts were lost in India for centuries after the burning of Nalanda university in 1193 CE.

This proves that the Jesuit scholar-missionaries were actively engaged in gathering knowledge from the world over, digesting it into Latin, erasing the pagan sources and diffusing it all over Europe. A similar map should be made for the transmission of Calculus manuscripts from Kerala beginning with Matteo Ricci(1580s). If they could extract so much from China and Japan where they had zero power, imagine what they could have done in the kingdom of Kochi which was under Portuguese colonial control from 1500–1663. Sadly, the Kerala school of Mathematics was located in Kochi and, some of its scholars like Sankara Varier served directly at the royal court and some like Sankara Varman were themselves from the royalty! The latter readily shared his manuscripts with the British officer Whish in the 1820s. His predecessors would naturally have done the same for the Portuguese Jesuits if they asked for local manuscripts.

So what novel ideas did these Mahāyāna manuscripts contain?

-Realism vs Idealism debate (The west had it just 200 years ago!)

    -"Transcendental Idealism"=Vijñānavāda

-Advanced treatises of logic(Candrakīrti and Dharmakīrti ?)

-Separation of Ethics & religion (Śāntideva)

    -Utilitarianism

-Separation of conventional truths and ultimate ones(Nāgārjuna)

-Rejection of 'soul' and its consequences('Existentialism')

    etc
    Ideas, you see...are contagious!

Additional Fun fact- The early text "Sumario" was actually brought to Goa from Japan by Nunes Barreto in 1556. Multiple copies were created (possibly at the Goan St. Paul College) and shipped to Europe. So Goa (and Kochi obviously) was being used as the port of manuscript export by the Portuguese as early as 1550s. One can only imagine how many local Indian texts they managed to procure in that 150 year period.

  • Nalanda University In Bihar (JDU) and Amaravati capital city (TDP) what does it tell about politics?

CBN is a polished man when it comes to developing a city and especially a IT hub. He has proven track record in Hyderabad

CBN plan and dream is to built Amaravati a World Class City. The Bangalore is already choked and he want to develop Amaravati as next hub. Visakhapatnam is just 360 KM from Amaravati and Visakhapatnam s a costal city with naval base, it means it can be directly connected to Singapore. This a direct advantage of it being a new IT hub soon, It is also a green field project and hence release pressure from Bangalore. This is CBN dream and I know it will happen

NiKu on other side also need Bihar to develop and come out of caste. He learned that sending Labour exporting state is not future. The Nalanda University will provide much required traction and to ensure its know to World, 17 Diplomats were invited today who will spread it outside Bharat. On Political side, NiKu want to get rid of The Bihar Anchor which has kept the state as the most backward state and this anchor is Lalu Family

For NiKu and CBN to achieve their dreams for state, it is necessary that Modi ji stay in Centre and they work like double engine sarkar. Both know if INDI alliance comes in power there dream project goes up in vapour

Based on this calculation, I hope that Modi govt in Centre is as strong as it was in 2nd term. As I have always said, Modi ji Philosophy is not to have BJP Govt in all state but states can have regional party Government and they work with Centre like a team

In last few days Media tried its best to put mic in JDU and TDP mouth to get some controversial bite but failed, even on Lok Sabha speaker post

This is why few days back I told you to invest in Amaravati. Its a green field project which will see sky rocket gains

Today PM Said - "Nalanda is not just a name; it is an identity, an honor, a value, a mantra. It is pride, it is a saga. Nalanda is a proclamation of the truth that while books may burn in the flames, the flames cannot extinguish the knowledge."

    and that's the message

I Pray that good Days for Andhra and Bihar are finally here and here to stay for long

Note to my Bihari friend, you have abused me a lot but rest assured, seeing Bihar develop and get out of Caste web is my dream. After all my first school in life was in Bihar only. So a relationship is already there

Last point, My dear Bangalore friends, I hope ur 5 Cr Flat cost don't dive in next 3 to 5 years 🤣

  • 3 मंसिर, Bikram Sambat २०८० marks the joyous occasion of the 94th birth anniversary of the esteemed Reverend HajurMuma. Hailing from the picturesque Arkhaule of Panchthar in B.S 1987, she was the beloved daughter of Punyaprasad Mainali and Himadevi Prasain Mainali. Muma, whose formative years were adorned with the charm of Atharai Hangpang, entered the sacred bond of matrimony at the tender age of 9, uniting her life with Haricharan Sitaula of Atharai Chuhanda.

For nearly six decades, Muma graced the landscapes of Chuhandada with her presence, weaving a tapestry of memories and experiences. However, her adventurous spirit led her to embrace the diverse hues of life in Kathmandu, Jhapa, and the United States for a decade. Following her sojourn in America, Muma found solace in the heart of Kathmandu, where she continues to savor the beauty of existence.

Muma's life is a testament to the philosophy of cherishing every moment with happiness. As we commemorate her enduring legacy, may we pledge to celebrate her presence in our hearts with the same warmth and love that she bestowed upon us. Muwa, may your journey be blessed, and our heartfelt best wishes accompany you always.

  • One married woman kissing another married man!!

The influence of Bollywood on our society is indeed a topic of concern. In traditional Sanatan philosophy, the emphasis is on recognizing the atman, the inner self, as the core of our existence, transcending physical desires. The portrayal of extramarital affairs and romanticizing them in Bollywood movies does seem to deviate from these values.

Such behavior on screen can have a profound impact on the viewers, especially when it comes to impressionable minds. It can inadvertently normalize behaviors that go against the principles of self-realization and moral values.

The increase in cheating, extramarital affairs, and divorce rates could be partially attributed to the glamorization of such actions in media. It's essential for society to promote values that strengthen relationships, family bonds, and personal growth rather than sensationalizing destructive behaviors.

The responsibility lies not only with Bollywood actors but also with the filmmakers, writers, and producers who create these narratives. Society should actively engage in conversations about the content being produced and consumed, encouraging a more responsible and value-based entertainment industry. Ultimately, it's essential to uphold and promote the timeless wisdom of Sanatan philosophy in our modern world.

  • Importance of Indigenous (Desi) Cow
Desi cattle has been a part of Indian lifestyle since ages unknown. It has helped mankind in farms to plough, on roads to carry loads, at home with milk and with urine & cow dung for several other uses in day to day life. Desi cow is not only looked upon as a source of benefit but also considered as a family member and revered with a motherly status & often called “Gau Mata”.

Indian history is also full of stories that underline the importance of cow. Gopal (One who guards cows), one of many names given to Lord Krishna in his childhood days. He was called so as he used to take special care of his cattle while he took them for grazing. Shri Krishna, though a Kshatriya by birth, spent his childhood at Raja Nand’s household, who was a king of dairy farmers. Eventually when he grew up and revealed his true identity after killing Kansa, he took Cow protection to next level by by turning himself into Gau-Sevak.

The message given by Shri Krishna is even more relevant today...

“Humans need cows more than cows need humans. Cows need to be protected for humans to survive.”

At Govigyan, we believe in this philosophy. Around 2 decades back,we started our journey towards unearthing different benefits of desi cow for mankind. Our research further endorses the greatness bestowed on desi cow by our ancestors and further underlines the importance of it to develop a great nation.

    Benefits of Desi Cow :

Milk: Cow milk touches practically all aspects of life. Men or women, kids or adults, rural or urban, milk is a wholesome food for all. It reduces acidity, increases immunity and sharpens the brain. Cow milk forms a base for many ayurvedic medicines. Desi Cow milk is A2 Type milk that helps fight diabetes in infants and adults. Many more products like curd, buttermilk, butter & clear butter (Ghee) are made from cow milk. These products have high medicinal & nutritional values.

Cow Urine (Go Mutra): Urine of any animal is discarded as a waste product but when it comes to cow its exact opposite. It's a boon to all mankind and farmers in particular. Cow urine is used to produce organic & natural fertilizers, insect repellents and other products in farming. It is not just used for external purposes alone but highly beneficial if consumed by humans. It has high medicinal value and is considered as a super medicine. Our scientists at GoVigyan have conducted an extensive research on indigenous cow urine and have proven its anti-cancerous properties. Importance of Indigenous (Desi) Cow Desi cattle has been a part of Indian lifestyle since ages unknown. Cows need to be protected for humans to survive.” At Govigyan, we believe in this philosophy. Around 2 decades back,we started our journey towards unearthing different benefits of desi cow for mankind. Our research further endorses the greatness bestowed on desi cow by our ancestors and further underlines the importance of it to develop a great nation. Benefits of Desi Cow : Milk: Cow milk touches practically all aspects of life. • A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf *****. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf *****. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full.. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed..

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf ***** are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.. The sand is everything else---the small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf *****. The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and mow the lawn.

Take care of the golf ***** first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented.

The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.
