  • On this auspicious occasion of Mata Laxmi Puja, let us extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Goddess of wealth, wisdom, and prosperity. This beautiful day of Tihar, also known as Deepawali in India, radiates hope, love, and unity. It is a time for all to invite Maa Laxmi into our hearts and homes, lighting diyas and praying for her blessings to illuminate our lives with abundance and joy.

Deepawali and Laxmi Puja: Celebrating the Divine Marriage of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu

    Introduction

Deepawali, known as Tihar in Nepal, is a festival of wealth, prosperity, love, and light. It fills our lives with positivity, happiness, and unity. In Hindu tradition, this day is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Laxmi, inviting her blessings of prosperity and peace into our homes. This festival brings joy and blessings to the entire community.

Clarifying the Misconception About Lord Ram’s Return

Many believe that Deepawali celebrates the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after defeating Ravan. However, this popular belief isn’t entirely accurate. According to Valmiki's Ramayana, Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya immediately the next day after completing his 14-year exile, as he had promised his beloved brother Bharat that he would not delay his return by even a day. Therefore, Lord Ram’s return and Deepawali do not fall on the same day.

The True Significance of Deepawali: The Divine Marriage of Laxmi and Vishnu

According to Hindu scriptures, Deepawali actually commemorates the divine marriage of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu. As described in the Vishnu Purana and other Vaishnavite texts, this day marks when Goddess Laxmi, the embodiment of wealth and prosperity, married Lord Vishnu, the protector of the universe.

This sacred union sends a message of blessings, virtue, and prosperity to the world. While Lord Vishnu represents righteousness and protection, Goddess Laxmi brings wealth, love, and growth, filling our lives with peace and abundance.

The Importance of Balance and Relationship

The marriage of Laxmi and Vishnu teaches us that true happiness comes not just from wealth but from a balance of material and spiritual growth. This day reminds us that combining righteousness with prosperity is the path to genuine fulfillment.

    Conclusion

Deepawali or Laxmi Puja is not just about lighting up the darkness; it celebrates the divine love, virtues, and balance embodied by Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu. On this day, we come together to honor their sacred union, praying for prosperity and peace to fill our homes.

Wishing all readers a very Happy Deepawali and Tihar! May your lives be filled with endless joy and prosperity.

  • Pondicherry University Row:

On March 29, students at Pondicherry Central University performed a controversial play at the campus during the annual cultural festival Ezhini 2K24.

ABVP PU Students protested against the recent incident held on 29th March 2024 at a fest organised by DPA, Pondicherry University Ezhini 2K24, where a play mockery of the Ramayana, including depicting Sita offering beef to Ravana and distorting Hanumanji’s character.

The drama depicted Sita’s character as “Geeta” dancing with “Ravana” portrayed as “Bhavana.” Shockingly, the portrayal included Sita offering beef to Ravana, and during the scene of Sita’s kidnapping, she was shown uttering, “I’m married, but we can be friends".

Pondicherry Police, taking cognisance of the matter registered an FIR against the makers and the University also instituted a committee to investigate the matter.

As on April 3, it has been reported that, with the committee’s recommendation and report yet to arrive the University has asked the Head of Department (HoD) of the Performing Arts department to step down from his position.

  • How Savarkar Ended Early Loud Namaz Calls in Kala Pani (Cellular Jail)

Even though there were requests not to disturb the whole prison with loud namaz calls, a bunch of Mus!im inmates felt it was a key part of their religion and kept doing it.

So, under Savarkar's leadership, many Hindu prisoners began to sing their own religious songs and verses from the Ramayana just as loudly.

Whenever the prison staff complained, Savarkar told them, "Why should you object to his prayer? Either stop all of them or let everyone be free to pray as he likes."

Eventually, this stopped the early morning calls to prayer in the prison.

Savarkar wrote: "One nuisance cancelled the other. What punishment could not stop, counter-goondaism had silenced."

  • Congress has made Bharat, a Muslim nation through the Constitution, but could not declare it.

    Articles 25, 28, 30 (1950)
    HRCE ACT (1951)
    HCB ACT (1956)
    SECULARISM (1975)
    SECULARISM ACT (1992)
    POW ACT (1991)
    WAQF ACT (1995)
    RAM SETU TRUST (2007)

    1) They legalized conversion by Article 25

    2) They took away religious education from Hindus through Article 28 but allowed religious education
to Muslims & Christians through Article 30

    3) They snatched away all the temples & shrine money from Hindus by implementing HRCE ACT 1951.

    4) They destroyed Hindu families by Divorce Law, Dowry Law under Hindu Code Bill but did not touch Muslim Personal Law. Allowed them polygamy so that they could continue increasing their population.

    5) Special Marriage Act was brought in 1954 so that Muslim boys could easily marry Hindu girls.

    6) In 1975 they imposed emergency, forcibly added the word secularism to the Constitution & forcefully made India secular.

    7) Congress did not stop here. In 1991 they brought the Minorities Commission Act & announced it.

    8) They gave special rights like govt scholarships to muslims. They gave muslims benefits under the Minority Act

    9) In 1992, they stopped Hindus from taking back their temples legally & took away 40,000 temples from Hindus through the Places of Worship Act.

    10) Congress did not stop here & in 1995 they gave Muslims the right to claim any land, ****** the land of any Hindu through Waqf Act & made Muslims the second largest land owners in India.

    11) In 2007, they rejected the existence of Shri Ram in the Ram Setu affidavit in Supreme Court & the peak point in the anti-Hindu crusade was in 2009 when Congress declared Hinduism an extremist religion by coining the term saffron terrorism where none did exist.

    12) Congress gradually & cleverly kept depriving the Hindus. They kept snatching away Hindu rights one by one & now Hindus are completely deprived of everything & the funny thing is that the Hindus are not even aware of it.

    13) They do not have their own temples, they do not have their own religious teachings, their lands are not their permanent property.

And they don't even ask questions!

Why are mosques & churches independent, but temples under govt control?

Why are there govt funded madrasas, convent schools but not govt funded Gurukuls?

Why is their Waqf Act not a Hindu Land Act?

There is Muslim personal board but not Hindu personal board? If India is a secular country then why are there majority minorities here? Why Ramayana & Mahabharata is not taught in schools?

    14) Aurangzeb used sword to destroy Hindu religion & Congress used legislation to destroy Hindu religion.

    15) And then there's the media.

If anyone tries to ask these questions, he is declared communal, saffron & a bhakt.

If @narendramodi ji tries to correct these mistakes he's called out & blamed that he's murdering democracy

    16) Remember it only took 80 years for the mighty Roman civilization to fall.

Every Hindu must read about the decline of Roman civilization.

No external force could defeat them, they were defeated internally by their own ruler Constantine & Christianity.

    17) Hindus have been persecuted by Nehru & his family since 1950.

Hindus have paid a heavy price & have suffered losses from Congress govts for most of the years. It is time for Hindus to come out of slave mentality & become like Shivaji & Maharana Pratap, who never became slaves during their reign.

Do we need this one party which has caused so much harm to Hindus? The blame should not be solely on the Congress.

Those regional parties which have been in alliance with the Congress from time to time for political reasons are also guilty.

This 2024 election is do or die for our Sanatana Dharma. Vote for BJP & save your future and culture. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

  • "Ram is your soul

    Sita is your heart

Ravan is your mind that steals your heart from your soul

Lakshman is your consciousness, always with you and act on your behalf

Hanuman is your intuition and courage that helps retrieve your heart to re-animate your soul

    That's Ramayan

That is why Ram is always with you as you are living with Ramayana with all these as states of your being...super read between lines and deep meaning.

Most people believe that Ramayan is all about love and commitment between Shri Ram and Maa Sita

I see it from a different view. Shri Ram was Yuvraj and it was his duty to bring back Maa Sita from Lanka safely. Shri Ram performed his "Raj Dharma" and hence on his return back to Ayodhya he was called Maryada Puroshtam Shri Ram

Ramayan - A 14 year journey of character building."

Point is Ram is real and he is coming home today after 5 centuries. May we all learn something from Ramayan and make it a part of our life.

It's indeed disheartening that the land Hindus call home (Bharat) falls short in imparting the wisdom of our great Hindu epics within its educational institutions, all due to the decisions made by two frauds (Gandhi and Nehru) of India. They actually decided the fate of Hindus, and unfortunately, Hindus gracefully accepted it without any resistance. I hope this will change in the near future!🙏

  • Once Gandhiji used to recite Quran in Valmiki Basti temple.

Then a woman in the group stood up and opposed Gandhiji.

    Gandhi asked: Why

Then that woman said it was against our religion.

Gandhi said .. I don't believe it like that..

The woman replied we don't treat you worthy to order about religion.

Gandhi said he should take the votes of the people here.

Woman replied, can religion be decided by vote?

Gandhi said you are now obstructing my religion.

The woman replied that you are illegally interfering in the religion of crores of Hindus.

Gandhi said: I listen to Quran

The woman said: I oppose it.

Then hundreds of Valmiki youths stood beside the woman, before reading the Quran in the temple, read the song or Ramayana in the mosque, then teach us the Quran.

Gandhi called the police after seeing the increase in protests.. Police came and captured the protesters, and a ‘107’ case was filed against them, then read the Quran at the same temple under Gandhi police defense.

According to the Ramayana, Hanuman stopped at the location to rest while searching for the Sanjivni Booti to revive Lakshmana. A giant 108-feet-high idol of Hanuman was unveiled at Jakhu Hanuman temple on 4 November 2010. At 108 feet (33 m), it surpasses the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which measures at 98 feet (30 m), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

  • Why lord Krishna is called 16 kala sampoorn . and lord ram consist of 14 kala..

Recently one of my friend questioned me why is lord krishna called 16 kala sampoorna and lord ram consists of 14 kala’s where as both are lord Vishnu avatar.??
First of all the question is what are these 16 kala’s?
why Krishna Avatara alone as Poorna Avatara?
    :-16 kala’s are:
    1) Anna Maya (with cereals)
    2) Pranamaya (with breath)
    3) Mano Maya (with mind)
    4) Vigyanamaya (with knowledge)
    5) Anandamaya (with joy)
    6) Atishayini (With Peace)
    7) Viparinabhini (With Love)
    8) Sankramini (With Creator)
    9) Prabhavi (able to do seemingly impossible tasks)
    10) Kunthini
    11) Vikasini (विकासिन्j. great )
    12) Maryadini (highly respected or with etiquette)
    13) Sanhaladini (संह्लादिन् . cheering, a source of happiness)
    14) Ahladini (आह्लादिन् . causing joy or delight)
    15) Paripurna (complete knowledge of all forms of awakening)
    16) Swarupavasthitha (swarup + awasthith = established in his real true self)
Shree Ram is not called Purna Avtar. Only Krishna Avtar is Purnavatara... Rama was 14 kala sampurna and krishna was 16 kala sampurna.
Ram had first 14 kalas but the last two were missing :-. Paripurna & Swarupavasthitha. Here paripurna means complete knowledge of all forms of awakening and swarupavasthitha - swarup + awasthith = established in his real true self.
Its actually an unfoldment of the Dashavatara in sequence of refinement and progress towards perfection.
Shri Rama before incarnation hides the last two kalas. These are needed for declaring him a Poornavatara. Ram is best known as Maryada Rama or Maryada Purusha.
This is because of a boon to Ravana. He was promised that no god would kill him. So Rama intentionally hid his 2 kalas and behaved like a common man (to fulfil the boon that Ravan would be killed by a man).
    The dasavataar’s are:
1.Matsya, the fish-avatar who saved Manu

Why lord Krishna is called 16 kala sampoorn . and lord ram consist of 14 kala.. :-16 kala’s are: 1) Anna Maya (with cereals) 2) Pranamaya (with breath) 3) Mano Maya (with mind) 4) Vigyanamaya (with knowledge) 5) Anandamaya (with joy) 6) Atishayini (With Peace) 7) Viparinabhini (With Love) 8) Sankramini (With Creator) 9) Prabhavi (able to do seemingly impossible tasks) 10) Kunthini 11) Vikasini (विकासिन्j. great ) 12) Maryadini (highly respected or with etiquette) 13) Sanhaladini (संह्लादिन् . cheering, a source of happiness) 14) Ahladini (आह्लादिन् . causing joy or delight) 15) Paripurna (complete knowledge of all forms of awakening) 16) Swarupavasthitha (swarup + awasthith = established in his real true self) Shree Ram is not called Purna Avtar. The dasavataar’s are: 1.Matsya, the fish-avatar who saved Manu 2.Kurma, the tortoise-avatar, who helped in Samudra manthan 3.Varaha, the boar-avatar, who rescued the earth from the ocean, by killing her kidnapper-demon Hiranyaksha. 4.Narasimha, the half man-half lion avatar, who killed the tyrant demon-king Hiranyakashipu, to rescue the demon's son Prahlada, who was a Vishnu-devotee 5.Vamana, the dwarf-avatar 6.Parashurama, sage with the axe who killed the thousand-armed king Kartavirya Arjuna 7.Rama, the king of Ayodhya and the hero of the Hindu epic Ramayana 8.Krishna, the king of Dwarka, 9.Buddha, also known as Gautam Buddha, 10.Kalki who is expected to appear at the end of Kali Yuga.. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #Copied

  • The Ramayana is a story about how Prince Ram, the son of King Dasharatha, becomes the ideal man and upholder of moral values, Lord Rama. It teaches the path of duty for an ideal man.

The Ramcharitmanas is a story about the life of Lord Rama and his character as told by Tulsidas, who wrote it after studying Valmiki's Ramayana. Both books are different.

  • In the Ramayana, there is a beautiful episode that provides a profound lesson in today's perspective. When Hanuman ji was crossing the sea, a demon named Sursa challenged him to eat him. Hanuman ji was crossing the sea in a small form, but he immediately increased his size so that Sursa could not devour him. Sursa opened a bigger mouth, and Hanuman ji assumed a bigger body to escape from him. Sursa made a bigger face than before.

Hanuman ji requested Sursa to let him go as he was going for an important task. However, Sursa did not agree, and so Hanuman ji assumed a very small form and entered Sursa's mouth, immediately coming out again.

Sursa then appeared in her real form and blessed Hanuman ji, stating that he possessed a great deal of discretion along with strength, and that he would achieve success in his purpose.

In life, all of us face obstacles such as suffering, difficulty, or examination, as illustrated by Sursa in this episode.

There are two types of people in this world: those who have a high spiritual aim in life and those who respect their position, values limited to respect, home, family, and wealth accumulation.

Whenever a person pursues a lofty goal, obstacles like Sursa will appear in their life. Such people may try to block their path, but a person has two options: to waste their energy clashing with other egos or to make themselves small and allow others to maintain their ego while moving on.

If we engage in conflicts with others' egos, a significant amount of our energy and time will be wasted, and we may even forget the goal we initially set out to achieve. This can lead to feelings of mutual conflict and revenge dominating our hearts and minds.

The lesson from this episode of Hanuman ji is that for our goals, it is wise to make ourselves smaller than others, and sometimes the essence of life lies in leaving others to their ego.

Jai Shree Ram Jai Veer Hanuman 🙏
