  • Worshiping the same deity as the favorite deity helps in mental unity. Although this is a good thing, other deities should never be looked down upon. We should also be clear that the same God exists in many forms.

Not harming anyone is the way to get rid of suffering in previous births and in this life.

Donating is a very good thing. But it is very necessary to sacrifice the idea that I have given charity to the poor.

Extravagance and dowry in marriages are against our Shastra traditions. We should realize that even if we ask for dowry or give it to the woman's family, it is like stolen property.

Eating vegetarian food also gives us a sense of humility and it is also a significant feature that we do not harm other living beings.

  • PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Abu Dhabi, the first Hindu temple in the Gulf nation.

    #BAPSHinduMandir
    Interesting Facts!
A Muslim king donated land for a Hindu Mandir, where the lead architect is a Catholic Christian, the project manager a Sikh, the foundational designer a Buddhist, the construction company a Parsi group, and the director comes from the Jain tradition.

Spread over 27 acres, the temple complex is on 13.5 acres, with a parking area of 13.5 acres that can accommodate around 1,400 cars and 50 buses. The 13.5 acres of land was gifted by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE in 2019.
    Dimensions-

Among the key architectural features are 96 bells and gaumukhs installed around the path leading to the temple. These 96 bells are a tribute to Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 96 years of life.

Nano tiles have been used, to comfort for visitors to walk on even in the hot weather.

    Height - 108 ft
    Length - 262 ft
    Width - 180 ft

Exterior - Pink sandstone from Rajasthan
    Interior - Italian marbles.

A total of 20,000 tonnes of stones and marble was shipped in 700 containers for the temple.

More than Rs 700 crore was spent on the construction.
Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman, Lord Shiv, Parvati, Ganpati, Kartikeya, Lord Jagannath, Lord Radha-Krishna, Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj (Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Gunatitanand Swami), Tirupati Balaji and Padmavati and Lord Ayappa have been featured in the temple.

The seven shikhars are representative of the seven Emirates of the UAE.

The temple also has some special features, like a ‘holy river’ surrounding it, for which waters from Ganga and Yamuna have been brought in. The river Saraswati has been depicted in the form of white light. A Varanasi-like ghat has been created where the ‘Ganga’ passes.

A Wall of Harmony, one of the largest 3D-printed walls in the UAE, features a video showcasing key milestones of the temple’s construction.

The word ‘harmony’ has been written in 30 different ancient and modern languages.

Apart from 15 value tales from Indian civilisation, stories from the Maya civilisation, Aztec civilisation, Egyptian civilisation, Arabic civilisation, European civilisation, Chinese civilisation and African civilisation have been depicted.

Other amenities include an assembly hall with a capacity of 3,000 people, a community centre, exhibitions, classrooms, and a majlis venue.

  • Ugly truth to digest

Around 1860s, A major event of Maharaja Ranbir Singh’s reign which could have changed the whole course of history of Kashmir was the collective approach of Kashmir Muslims to him for being taken back into the Hindu fold. They pleaded that they had been forcibly converted to Islam against their will and were longing to re-embrace their ancestral faith.

Ranbir Singh sought the guidance of Swamy Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj, in the matter. Swami Dayand advised him that he could take them back in Hinduism after performing certain rites.

A section of Kashmiri community filled boats with stones and brought them midstream before Maharaja’s palace on the Jhelum. They threatened him that they would commit suicide by drowning along with the sinking boats as a protest against his decision to take back Muslims into Hindu fold

Maharaja Ranbir Singh cancelled the event and hence the plan of return of Kashmiri Muslims to Hinduism thus fell through

Do you know who was this "Kashmiri community"? Go do some research

It doesn't matter what I think of Kashmir and Hindus or what you think or what politics do

The biggest and most powerful mirror is HISTORY

and it is well recorded in History that when in 1860s Muslims in Kashmir went to Maharaja Ranbir Singh ji to return back to sanatan, it was Kashmiri Pundt who stopped It

    HISTORY IS BIGGEST MIRROR

Today in place of learning from mistake they playing victimhood

Teach your kids not how we got freedom but teach why we lost it

    Same with Kashmiri pundits

Stop entitelement, its not going to happen. Face the reality today
