  • On this auspicious day of Bhai Tika, also celebrated as Bhai Dooj in India, we honor the sacred bond of love and commitment between brothers and sisters—a bond that transcends lifetimes and echoes the teachings of our ancient Sanatan scriptures. This festival, deeply rooted in our Sanatan Dharma, is a beautiful reminder of the divine relationship between siblings, where love, protection, and unwavering support are at the core of this union.

The Vedas remind us that the bond between siblings is a microcosm of unity and harmony within families and communities, illustrating the power of togetherness and shared destiny. This day is a celebration of the promise to stand by each other through every challenge, to uplift one another, and to cherish the gift of having a sibling to share life’s journey.

Today, as sisters apply the sacred tika on their brothers' foreheads, they offer their prayers for their brothers’ well-being, strength, and prosperity. And in return, brothers vow to protect, respect, and love their sisters eternally. May this divine exchange bring blessings, joy, and peace into every home.

To all brothers and sisters around the world, may this #BhaiTika strengthen your bond and inspire you to keep love, harmony, and understanding alive. Wishing everyone a blessed and joyous Bhai Tika filled with the timeless spirit of Sanatan Dharma and the blessings of our sacred traditions.

  • Namaste to the entire Dununu family,

On the auspicious occasions of Rakshya Bandhan and Janai Purnima, we extend our heartfelt wishes for prosperity, health, and happiness to you and your loved ones. May these sacred festivals strengthen the bonds of love and protection within your families and communities, filling your hearts with peace and joy.

Explanation of Rakshya Bandhan and Janai Purnima:

    Rakshya Bandhan:
Rakshya Bandhan, celebrated in both Nepal and India, is a festival that honors the sacred bond between brothers and sisters. The word "Rakshya" means protection, and "Bandhan" means bond. On this day, sisters tie a sacred thread called "Rakhi" around their brothers' wrists as a symbol of love, respect, and protection. In return, brothers promise to protect their sisters and offer gifts as a token of their affection. The Rakhi is more than just a thread; it is a symbol of a deep emotional connection that transcends the physical realm, representing the unwavering support and care that siblings offer each other.

    Janai Purnima:
Janai Purnima, also known as Rakshya Bandhan in Nepal, is celebrated by Hindus all over the country. It is the day when men, particularly those who have undergone the sacred thread ceremony (Upanayan), renew their "Janai" or sacred thread, which they wear diagonally across their chest. This ritual symbolizes the renewal of their vows to lead a virtuous and disciplined life. The festival also involves the tying of a "Doro" or protective thread on the wrists of all family members by priests, who chant prayers for their well-being.

In Nepal, Janai Purnima is also a time for religious pilgrimage, where devotees visit holy rivers and lakes to take ritual baths, seeking blessings and purification. The festival is deeply rooted in the cultural and spiritual traditions of the region, embodying the values of protection, purity, and brotherhood.

Wishing you all a blessed Rakshya Bandhan and Janai Purnima. May these festivals bring joy, prosperity, and protection to your lives.

  • Why is the wedding ring worn on the fourth finger?

    A beautiful explanation to this.

    The thumb represents your parents.
The index finger represents your siblings.
    The ************* represents yourself.
The ring finger represents your life partner.
The little finger/pinky represents your children.

    Hold your hands together.

Join your middle fingers back-to-back, and the remaining fingers tip-to-tip. Now, try to separate your thumbs. They will separate because your parents are not destined to live with you forever.

Rejoin your thumbs and separate your index fingers. They will separate because your siblings will have their own families and lead their own lives.

Rejoin your index fingers and separate your little fingers/pinkies. They will separate because your children will grow up, get married, and settle down.

Rejoin your little fingers/pinkies and try to separate your ring finger. They will not be able to separate because your life partner is meant to be with you throughout your entire life, through thick and thin.

  • #BharatNews Najma Ulma, a resident of Ajaz Nagar in Bareilly has alleged that her husband threatened to give her Triple Talaq for voting for the BJP in the recent UP Assembly elections.

Her husband, identified as Tasleem Ansari, comes from a family of Samajwadi Party workers.

She was beaten up, thrown out from her husband's house and also her husband's uncle Tayyab had threatened to assault/kill her siblings.

Ulma said that she was not the only Muslim woman who voted for the BJP.

“There are many like me who have been impressed by the party’s work for women and voted for it silently. My only mistake was that I told my family about it,” she said. She added that she was scared for the future of her five sisters.

Ulma said that she had cast her vote for the BJP as she was impressed by the overturning of triple talaq and by the provision of free ration.
