1. The Wise Pigeon and the Hunter

Once upon a time, there was a flock of pigeons living happily in the forest. One day, a hunter came and spread a net to catch the pigeons. The pigeons, not seeing the trap, flew into the net and got stuck. They were all scared and began to panic. But the leader of the pigeons, a wise bird, told them, "Don't be afraid. If we work together and flap our wings at the same time, we can lift the net and fly away!"

Following the wise pigeon’s advice, all the pigeons flapped their wings together. To the hunter's surprise, the pigeons flew away, carrying the net with them. They landed in a safe place, where a mouse friend of the pigeons chewed through the ropes and set them free.

Moral: When we work together, we can overcome any problem.

2. The King and the Foolish Monkey

Once there was a king who had a pet monkey. The monkey loved the king and wanted to help him in every way. One day, the king was resting under a tree, and the monkey was given the job of shooing away the flies that bothered the king.

As the king slept, a fly landed on his forehead. The monkey tried to wave it away, but the fly kept coming back. Annoyed, the monkey picked up a stick to hit the fly. But when the fly landed on the king’s head again, the monkey, in his foolishness, struck the king's head with the stick, trying to kill the fly. The king woke up in pain, and soon realized that it’s better to have a wise enemy than a foolish friend.

Moral: A foolish friend can be more dangerous than a wise enemy.

3. The Loyal Cow and the Tiger

There was once a kind and gentle cow who lived happily with her herd. One day, as she wandered away from the group, she came face to face with a hungry tiger. The tiger wanted to eat her, but the brave cow didn’t run away.

Instead, the cow said, "I have a calf to feed. Let me return to my herd, say goodbye to my calf, and I will come back to you willingly." The tiger, surprised by the cow’s bravery and honesty, agreed to wait. The cow returned to her herd and said goodbye to her calf. When she came back to the tiger, the tiger was so moved by the cow’s loyalty and courage that he spared her life and let her go.

Moral: Honesty and loyalty are always rewarded.

4. The Golden Swan

In a small village, there was a poor family who struggled to make ends meet. One day, a beautiful golden swan landed in their yard. The swan said, "I see that you are poor and struggling. I will give you one of my golden feathers every day, and you can sell it for money."

The family was overjoyed and lived comfortably by selling the swan’s golden feathers. However, over time, they grew greedy. They didn’t want to wait for the swan to give them one feather at a time, so they decided to catch the swan and take all the feathers at once. But when they grabbed the swan, all of its golden feathers turned into regular feathers. The swan flew away, leaving the family with nothing.

Moral: Greed can take away what you already have.

5. The Clever Merchant

Once, there was a clever merchant who often traveled to sell his goods. One day, while on his way to a new village, he was followed by two thieves. The thieves wanted to steal his goods and were looking for the right moment to attack.

The merchant, being smart, realized that the thieves were following him. Instead of panicking, he came up with a plan. He turned to the thieves and said, "I know you are planning to rob me, but how about I make you an offer instead? If you help me safely sell my goods in the market, I’ll give you a portion of the profit."

Surprised by the merchant’s cleverness, the thieves agreed. They helped the merchant sell his goods in the market, and true to his word, the merchant shared his profit with them. The thieves were so impressed by his honesty and wisdom that they decided to change their ways and become honest men.

Moral: Wisdom and cleverness can turn enemies into friends.
