The Supreme Court granted interim bail to Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad, who was arrested for social media posts concerning Operation Sindoor. The court has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case. Mahmudabad faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including endangering national integrity, following complaints about his remarks.
