'Dog whistling': Supreme Court slams Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad's choice of words, grants him interim bail

The Supreme Court granted interim bail to Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad, who was arrested for social media posts concerning Operation Sindoor. The court has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case. Mahmudabad faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including endangering national integrity, following complaints about his remarks.
