CCPA slaps notices to Uber over 'advance time'
Posted
India's consumer protection authority, CCPA, has issued a notice to Uber over its "advance tip" feature, which promises faster service. Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi condemned the practice as unethical and exploitative, labeling it an unfair trade practice. He emphasized that tips should be voluntary and not a prerequisite for service.
