NSUI protests against UP govt’s school merger plan, claims move will shut over 27,000 rural schools

The NSUI staged a protest in Lucknow against the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to consolidate schools with low enrollment. Led by Anas Rehman and Rishabh Pandey, the student demonstrators marched towards the Vidhan Sabha, resulting in clashes with the police.
