J&K leads in mental health helpline calls

Jammu & Kashmir is leading India in mental health support through Tele MANAS, a digital initiative providing round-the-clock counselling. The program has handled over 1,03,504 calls, addressing issues like depression, anxiety, and stress. Video consultations have further enhanced clinical engagement, making mental healthcare more accessible across the region, including remote areas.
