Uma Kanjilal appointed first woman VC of IGNOU, 4 decades after university was set up

Uma Kanjilal has been appointed as the first woman Vice Chancellor of IGNOU, four decades after its establishment. With over 36 years in Open and Distance Learning, she brings extensive experience in academic leadership and digital innovation.
