The Kailasha Mandir, Ellora - that can never be built again on Earth!

Entire Mandir was cut out from solid basalt bedrock, from top to bottom.

Nearly 4 lakh tons of stone was dug to create this marvel. Surprisingly no debris is found upto 100 kms radius of the Mandir.

These were not made only with chisels and hammers. But advanced Ancient Bharatiya Technology was used.

1. 10 ध्वनियां :-
1.घंटी, 2.शंख, 3.बांसुरी, 4.वीणा, 5. मंजीरा, 6.करतल, 7.बीन (पुंगी), 8.ढोल, 9.नगाड़ा और 10.मृदंग

2. 10 कर्तव्य :-
1. संध्यावंदन, 2. व्रत, 3. तीर्थ, 4. उत्सव, 5. दान, 6. सेवा 7. संस्कार, 8. यज्ञ, 9. वेदपाठ, 10. धर्म प्रचार।

3. 10 दिशाएं :-
दिशाएं 10 होती हैं जिनके नाम और क्रम इस प्रकार हैं- उर्ध्व, ईशान, पूर्व, आग्नेय, दक्षिण, नैऋत्य, पश्चिम, वायव्य, उत्तर और अधो।

4. 10 दिग्पाल :-
10 दिशाओं के 10 दिग्पाल अर्थात द्वारपाल होते हैं या देवता होते हैं। उर्ध्व के ब्रह्मा, ईशान के शिव व ईश, पूर्व के इंद्र, आग्नेय के अग्नि या वह्रि, दक्षिण के यम, नैऋत्य के नऋति, पश्चिम के वरुण, वायव्य के वायु और मारुत, उत्तर के कुबेर और अधो के अनंत।

5. 10 देवीय आत्मा :-
1.कामधेनु गाय, 2.गरुढ़, 3.संपाति-जटायु, 4.उच्चै:श्रवाअश्व, 5.ऐरावत हाथी, 6.शेषनाग-वासुकि, 7.रीझ मानव, 8.वानर मानव, 9.यति, 10.मकर।

6. 10 देवीय वस्तुएं :-
1.कल्पवृक्ष, 2.अक्षयपात्र, 3.कवच कुंडल, 4.दिव्य धनुष और तरकश, 5.पारस मणि, 6.अश्वत्थामा की मणि, 7.स्यंमतक मणि, 8.पांचजन्य शंख, 9.कौस्तुभ मणि
10 संजीवनी बूटी

7. 10 पवित्र पेय :-
1.चरणामृत, 2.पंचामृत, 3.पंचगव्य, 4.सोमरस, 5.अमृत, 6.तुलसी रस, 7.खीर, 9.आंवला रस

Shining Shivlinga of Lakhamandal.

A very unique Shivling made of graphite which shines like a mirror on pouring water on it & reflects the surrounding. It is believed that one becomes Blessed and all his sins & misfortunes will end just by seeing his face on this shivling.

Lakhamandal has a history dated back to the Mahabharata period & is believed to be the place of Lakshyagriha.
