Poush 14, 2080, Saturday Two Arrested with Brown Sugar and Motorcycle in Jhapa Jhapa: Two individuals have been arrested in Jhapa for the possession of prohibited substances, including brown sugar and a motorcycle. The arrested individuals are Arjun Dhara, a 29-year-old resident of Arjundhara Municipality-11, and Reg Bahadur Darji, a 37-year-old individual residing in the same area and behind the wheel of the motorcycle, as informed by DSP Khagendra Prasad Rijal of the District Police Office, Jhapa. Under the East-West Highway, within Mechinagar Municipality-13 at Charali Chowk, a police team from Charali checkpoint, headed westward from Charali, intercepted a motorcycle with the registration number Me 5 Pa 3648 on Friday night around 11 PM. The police team conducted a check and inspection, resulting in the discovery of brown sugar. During the inspection, both individuals were found to be in possession of 100 grams and 150 milligrams of brown sugar. DSP Rijal stated that an investigation has been initiated by placing the arrested individuals, along with the seized motorcycle, in the custody of the Dhulabari Area Police Office.
