  • 🇮🇳AKHAND BHARAT A REALITY SOON: Yogi Adityanath

The so-called democrats and seculars around the world remain mum on the attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh, even those secularists within India — because they fear their vote bank won't support them, Adityanath said.

The British had divided India for their own interests, and even after the Partition, these people continue to sow seeds of division among Indians, he remarked.

"Our resolution is what Maharishi Arvind had declared before 1947: Pakistan is not a reality in the spiritual world. 🇵🇰Pakistan will either merge with Bharat, or it will be erased from history.”

  • Kanwariya who died in car-hit gives new life to 5

Dehradun: A kanwariya who died after being hit by a car near Roorkee while heading towards Haridwar to fetch Ganga water has saved and transformed five lives through organ donation. Sachin Khandelwal, 25, from Mahendragarh in Haryana, met with an accident on July 22 and was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, where doctors said he had slipped into a coma. He died soon after, reports Shivani Azad.

After being approached by doctors, Sachin's family agreed to donate his organs. On Thursday, the Dehradun police facilitated a green corridor from AIIMS Rishikesh to Dehradun’s Jolly Grant airport to expedite the transportation of the organs. His kidneys, pancreas, and liver were transported to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi for transplantation. Two patients in Uttarakhand regained their sight on Saturday thanks to Sachin’s corneas.

  • This is very unfortunate that Labour has won the general election 2024 at a time when the country and the world is in chaos. They will find it very hard to change things and in no time by the next election in 2029, they will be thrown out for another decade or more. This is the biggest task for Starmer to actually bring the country and the public along throughout these 5 years.

Rishi Sunak concedes defeat in the UK parliamentary elections.

Keir Starmer to become the next UK Prime Minister after a landslide victory.

One major reason for the Conservative Party's loss is voter fatigue. No British political party has ever won a fifth successive term in office. The Conservative Party was in power since 2010.

  • The Conservative Party have pledged to introduce mandatory national service for 18-year-olds if they win the general election on July 4 - PM Rishi Sunak

Eligible young men will have to choose between one weekend a month volunteering, or help plug one of 30,000 gaps in the depleted British Armed Forces.

British teenagers probably needn't worry - the Conservatives trail the opposition Labour party by 17 points in the latest opinion polls.

  • What has happened to these people? What kind of cheap thoughts do these people have? Just imagine, according to you, if our ancestors, all the rishis, maharishis, and gurus, had not sacrificed their lives for future generations, and had not engaged in sadhana. Do you think the world would be like what it is today? You don't understand the sacrifice that Narendra Damodardas Modi, known as Modi, has made for the Sanatan family. The cheap mentality that you have please keep it with you, but we as Indians feel proud and blessed to have these heroes in our lifetime.
We all are part of Modi's Family!

  • The imagery of a beach in the 1970s in the western world conjures a nostalgic scene of carefree days, sun-kissed sands, and bronzed bodies lounging under the warm glow of the sun. In this idyllic setting, one notable absence is the sight of overweight bodies. This observation, shared by Palapa Gamage in a Facebook post, prompts reflection on the profound changes that have occurred in societal attitudes towards food and health over the past few decades.

During the 1970s, the prevalence of obesity and associated health issues was significantly lower compared to contemporary times. The beach, often a symbol of leisure and vitality, mirrored a population that was generally slimmer and more active. People engaged in outdoor activities, sports, and leisurely strolls along the shore, maintaining a lifestyle that naturally regulated their weight and health.

However, juxtaposed against this nostalgic backdrop is a sobering reality—the transformation of the food industry and its impact on our bodies and health. Over the decades, the food industry has undergone a radical evolution characterized by the proliferation of highly processed, calorie-dense foods that are often laden with sugars, unhealthy fats, and artificial additives.

This shift in food production and consumption patterns has contributed to a dramatic rise in obesity rates, chronic diseases, and other health ailments across the globe. Portion sizes have expanded, fast food chains have become ubiquitous, and convenience has taken precedence over nutritional value. As a result, the once-common sight of trim beachgoers from the 1970s has been replaced by a diverse array of body shapes and sizes, many of which reflect the consequences of modern dietary habits and sedentary lifestyles.

Palapa Gamage's poignant observation serves as a stark reminder of the profound impact of the food industry on our collective well-being. It prompts us to question the choices we make regarding food and lifestyle, and to consider the broader societal and economic forces shaping our relationship with nutrition and health. As we strive to reclaim a sense of balance and mindfulness in our diets and daily routines, we are reminded of the importance of fostering a culture of wellness that prioritizes wholesome, nourishing foods and active living—a culture reminiscent of the timeless allure of the beach in the 1970s.
