A two-day musical and spiritual program was organized at the Sphatikeshwar Temple in Melamchi, Sindhupalchok District.

Organizers:

The event was jointly organized by Achyutarām Bhandari Music Foundation, Pathik Foundation, and Sphatikeshwar Temple, Fatakshila. The program was attended by prominent guests, including Melamchi Municipality's Chief Aitaman Tamang.

Highlights:

During the program, Chief Tamang, in his remarks, recalled listening to classical music on Radio Nepal and emphasized the increased importance of classical music nowadays. He also invited Achyutarām Bhandari Music Foundation to participate in the program, acknowledging the favorable timing.

On this occasion, Achyutarām Bhandari, the patron of Achyutarām Bhandari Music Foundation, expressed gratitude to Chief Guest Tamang on behalf of the foundation and presented him with music-related and spiritual books as tokens of appreciation.

The Chairman of the temple, Badri Acharya, mentioned the opportunity the program provided for the public to understand classical music, devotional songs, meditation, and Vedanta.

Request for Youth Leadership:

Leaders urged Chief Guest Tamang to take the lead in fostering youth leadership, noting that he had not done much in this regard.

Program Schedule:

The program commenced on Baishakh 23 with bhajan, kirtan, and aarti in the evening and continued the next day, Baishakh 24, from 10 AM to 3 PM, featuring classical music, devotional songs, dance, meditation, and lectures.
