In the Mahabharata, the armies of the Kauravas and Pandavas were facing each other for the war. It was the first day, and the battle was about to begin in a short while. Suddenly, the elder brother of the Pandavas, Yudhishthira, placed his weapons and chariot aside and started walking towards the Kauravas on foot.

Seeing Yudhishthira going towards the Kaurava side, his other Pandava brothers asked him where he was going. Yudhishthira kept walking without responding to his brothers' words.

When Yudhishthira didn't answer, all the soldiers in the Pandava army started to think that he was going to surrender to the Kauravas even before the battle began.

Bhim and Arjuna started to worry, and they asked Sri Krishna to take charge and make sure that Yudhishthira doesn't surrender.

On the other hand, the Kaurava soldiers, seeing Yudhishthira approaching them, started to talk among themselves that Yudhishthira was afraid of them and was coming to surrender.

Both armies started to have different conversations at their respective levels about Yudhishthira, but no one could understand the truth.

Sri Krishna also reassured Bhim and Arjuna with a smile, saying that they should not worry and be patient because he knows what Yudhishthira is going to do.

In a short while, Yudhishthira reached Bhishma Pitamah and bowed his head.

Those who were watching from afar thought that Yudhishthira had surrendered. However, the truth was that Yudhishthira folded his hands and asked Bhishma to give permission so that they could take up arms against him and engage in battle.

Bhishma was pleased with Yudhishthira's request. He said that if Yudhishthira had not asked for permission, he would have been angry.

After Bhishma, Yudhishthira went to ask for permission to fight from Dronacharya and Kripacharya. Sri Krishna explained to the Pandavas that when we do something big, we should first seek the blessings and permission of our elders. Only then we can achieve success in our work. Today, we are going to start a war. Therefore, Yudhishthira is taking the blessings and permission of his elders. When we work with the blessings of our elders, we have courage and we can do our work with full strength.

Sri Krishna explained to the Pandavas that what we see is not always true. We should keep patience and think carefully before reaching any conclusion.
