We have failed to address the demands of those who have migrated to other countries. They are requesting dual citizenship from political parties. They suggest that individuals with dual citizenship should not be eligible to run for the positions of Prime Minister, President, Chief Minister, or Mayor, but they should be allowed to participate in local-level politics. Currently, there are Chinese individuals who have obtained citizenship in countries like Singapore, Canada, and Australia. They identify themselves as Chinese Canadians or Chinese Australians. Lee Can Yu is an example of someone who migrated from China. However, he has encouraged all overseas Chinese to invest in China for the development of the country. China is providing special facilities to attract them. Regrettably, we have been unable to ensure political participation within our own country. Even my party has failed in this regard. Therefore, we should also anticipate some form of contribution from the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). The knowledge and resources they have gained abroad are valuable for the development of our country. However, we have not been successful in establishing trust and effectively engaging with them.
